Botox In Colorado Springs

Pearl Skin & Body Rejuvenation Concierge Med Spa performs Botox In Colorado Springs.  We specialize in  using BOTOX® Cosmetic to treat and reduce fine lines, wrinkles, frown lines and “crows feet” in the upper face and forehead region. Not to be out done, through the science of Botox, we are also able to utilize it’s signal blocking properties as a strategy to mitigate sweat in areas like arm pits or other nefarious regions. Botox for jaw clenching is another exciting course of treatment for those who need a jaw relaxant. Treatments have no gender. Botox is for men. Botox is for women. Botox is not for elephants, however.

Dr. Degurse Answers Your Botox Questions

What questions should I ask about Botox? Is Botox Safe? What do I look for in a Botox provider? Is Botox Painful? What qualifications must an injector have? How often do I need Botox? Dr. Rachael Degurse of Pearl Skin & Body Rejuvenation, a Colorado Springs Concierge, Med Spa answers your questions about Botox and more.
Botox Cosmetic is the only treatment FDA-approved to temporarily make moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines look better in adults. It’s the exact composition of medical-use Botox. However, you can earn Botox credits for future uses with Botox Cosmetic.
Forehead treatments vary from person to person, as well as where you are at in your treatments. They can average anywhere from 10 to 50. Do not fear. Unlike many places, Dr. Degurse errors on the side of less when she first meets you because you can always add more. However, if you’re changing providers and you know your typical dosage then that’s great. Either way, Dr. Degurse has extensive experience determining the proper dosage and cadence for your beauty goals.

I offer Botox treatments on the upper face and sweat reduction mitigation services (ex. armpits) right here in Colorado Springs.

Results from Botox injections will vary from patient to patient, so I will plan your next appointment based on your results and aesthetic goals. But I would estimate the average at around three months, depending on the patient.

Historically, Botox treatment has been performed on men and women above 40. However, over the last several years, Botox has gained popularity among individuals in their 30s. There are no known medical risks to starting in your 30s. Honestly, it’s really about when you want to start tackling the lines that typically begin forming in your 30s.

The truth is, everyone’s lines form differently. The timing can be influenced by a combination of factors, from cellular changes that may occur over time to the reduction of collagen, genetic factors, or damage caused by free radicals from the sun and the environment.

Haha. Yes, both MEN and WOMEN are frequent clients of Botox treatments. That may sound funny, but that’s how the world is. It is much more socially “acceptable” for men to receive treatments, and the numbers across the U.S prove it.
Again, Botox is the ONLY FDA-approved treatment for mild to moderate fine lines and wrinkles, so there’s that. It was also the first neurotoxin to be used. Given its long history and studies, the information available about Botox is much more robust and comprehensive.

I’m a licensed medical doctor and prepared to provide whatever medical advice or support you require should a rare serious side-effect occur. Most aesthetic clinics cannot say the same.

Three percent of patients experienced eyelid drooping in the frown lines studies, one percent experienced eyelid swelling in the crow’s feet studies, and one percent of patients experienced brow drooping in the forehead lines studies. Other possible side effects include dry mouth, discomfort or pain at the injection site; tiredness; headache; neck pain; eye problems: double vision, blurred vision, decreased eyesight and dry eyes, and allergic reactions.
